Emanuel Lutheran Church has adopted a
portion of highway 510, between Yelm High School and
Southworth Elementary. The point of contact
for this activity is Scott May. She will be
providing copies of
agreement w/ DOT on Weds before
Lenten service.
The
agreement
includes a map detailing how we place
the signs & where we pick up. We have agreed
to conduct clean-up activities through 2/28/13.
We can only have 15-20 working at one
time, and must be at least 15 years old; however, we
need more than 20 volunteers to sign up so we have
replacements for when someone can't make it. A
second string so to speak.
Volunteers must first complete the below instruction
prior to being eligible to assist:
Participant Registration
Form.
You only have to fill it out once.
Please complete and provide
to Scott May.
You will need the last 4 digits of
your SS#.
You will be signing a form stating
that you watched the safety video.

Our next
scheduled pick-up is for Jan 9th, 2010.
We will meet at the church at 9AM &
carpool over to our section of road.
Volunteers will need to
supply your own gloves, water, pickup
tool if you desire one, & rain jacket. If you are
an optimist you can bring sun block!!
