In the biblical sense, stewardship is the belief that God is the
true and ultimate owner of each person's possessions, and that one
is accountable to God for the acceptable care and use of those
possessions.
As Christians, each one of us
is responsible for ensuring that all of God's creations are well
cared for and used for the betterment of all. This includes His
children, His house of worship, and His blessings.
"According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master
builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building on it.
Each builder must choose with care how to build on it.
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that
has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 3:10-11.

"Financial stewardship is not only a
matter of faithful giving but of faithful living. In response to the
gospel, we submit our lives to the rule of God, to the lordship of
Christ, and to the direction of the Holy Spirit, so that we may be
the people God wants us to be and have the lives God wants us to
have."
